Graham Anthony has been teaching at RIT for 4 years. He did his undergraduate study at RIT in Printing and Applied Computer Science. He spent 25% of his time in the College of Imaging Arts and Science (CIAS) and 75% of his time in the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences (GCCIS). He really enjoyed going to school and after graduation, decided it was time to take his skills to the real world working for Nukote International.
After a few years of working for Nukote International, he decided he wanted to take his career into a new direction. He found a job here at RIT in the School of Media Sciences (SMS) working with electronics and setting up servers while going to graduate school. He received his Masters of Science at RIT as well in Human Computer Interaction. That involves looking at how humans interact with computers and figuring out how to create a comfortable computer experience. He didn’t plan on being a lecturer but he was offered the opportunity to do so right after grad school.
In Graham’s free time here in SMS, he enjoys having philosophical conversations about life with his co-worker Bruce. He manages Connect, which is a student run marketing organization for students, faculty and staff of SMS. He likes to play the ukulele or listening to music while thinking about planning new lesson plans and doing his work. He loves goats and raising honeybees at his home. He also enjoys making lots of dinosaur/raptor jokes and animal jokes in general.
Graham can usually be found sitting in his office or walking around the halls of CIAS so be sure to say hello or ask him about his bee farm next time you see him.
